The SEARCH project aims to create an AI-powered platform that generates high-quality synthetic datasets that mirror real-world healthcare data across genomic, cardiovascular, gynaecological, and gastrointestinal therapeutic areas. The use of federated learning to train the AI models enables institutions to collaborate by contributing their datasets without sharing actual patient data, helping to drive innovation without compromising privacy.

Motilent’s contribution lies in its specialised expertise in GI image analysis in clinical, research and commercial settings. Motilent’s experience will help to ensure that the use cases for synthetic data generation in the GI space, together with what synthetic data is generated and how, remain meaningful and fit for purpose in selected real-world medical settings.
